3.Show Me Games1 (June 8-10) and Show Me Games 2 (July 20-22)
Because opportunities are limited for the girls in the summer, the easiest way for us to get competition is to participate in the two Show Me Games weekends in Columbia. This will allow us to get up to 4 games in each weekend which will help supplement the weight training and individual skill work being done. The first weekend is the women’s “open” which means we may be able to add graduates if we are short numbers. I realize this is a potential basketball weekend (Saturday shootout), but there is a good chance you would be able to help with both if you manage schedules correctly AND this is one of the few opportunities we have to get games. We will need at least 14 girls to be able to commit to playing BOTH days. The second weekend in July is designated for high school teams and I believe is free from other sports based on the school calendar. We can roster as many as needed, but will again need at least 14 to commit to all three days. This will be for all girls who are eligible to play soccer in high school 2018-19. Cost to be determined by how many players we have.
